In the heart of Turkey,on a plateau at 1000 meters altitude, surrounded by ancient volcanoes planed by millennia of erosion, extends a delightful landscape of lush valleys, rich in fruit trees (apricot trees, vines, etc.), with villages among the most beautiful in the country, but also lunar expanses dotted with “fairy chimneys” many of them hollowed out to become houses, churches and monasteries decorated with frescoes from the Byzantine era, dovecotes, etc. There are even huge underground cities on 8 floors, invisible from the surface!
